So, when going through the process of choosing your life long buddy, the pig.  Realize that they are a gift.  Read up on them, ask questions, talk to as many people as you can.  Learn about this fine little creature.  Understand the different types of pigs and all of their sizes and colors.  Be educated.  They deserve that and you do as well.  Knowing that there is a difference in a mini pot bellied pig and a micro pig (who is not a pot bellied pig at all) can make a big difference in your choice and open up a new understanding as to how pigs differ in size and why.  Do not just expect that everything you hear is right or wrong.  Continue to educate yourself and be consciously involved in the process of your purchase.  If a seller advertises "teacup' or "pocket" pigs, ask questions. Find out if they are pot bellies or micro pigs.  Find out what they consider a teacup to be.  There are many many names for little pigs and it is a way to put a name to a size but it can be confusing and concerning as well.  You want the true facts so you get what you truly want.  After your research and search you will come to the time when you will  be visiting a website or farm in person and you can look the potentially new piglet in the eye and you will see, he can tell you if you are the right person for him.  A forever relationship should start to grow from that moment on.  There is nothing like sharing your life with the wonderful pig.  He will be a magical gift that will show you a new world.  He will teach you if you are open to learning and he will show you how much love you can squeeze out because he will spare nothing when loving you.
